In June 2019, LDC announced the purchase of Ellis Park Racetrack in Henderson, Kentucky. Ellis Park is one of Kentucky’s oldest and most respected racetracks; a facility that includes Historical Horse Racing (HHR) machines. In August 2019, LDC Corporate Director of Slots Jeff Inman was promoted to General Manager of Ellis Park Racetrack.
Inman is excited for this new opportunity to bring LDC’s first-class entertainment experience to our guests in Indiana and Kentucky on the foundation of our long-standing core values of Friendliness, Cleanliness, High Integrity, Dependability and Wisdom. Inman takes on this new challenge with over 30 years of experience in the industry having joined LDC over 16 years ago when Route 66 Casino first opened its doors. Inman started as a Slots Manager, then was promoted to Casino Manager at Dancing Eagle and finally into his position as Corporate Director of Slots. As he served in all his capacities with LDC, he has always displayed a genuine interest in providing top-notch customer service and the best slot product for our guests.
Jeff stated, “I am thrilled to take on this new challenge at Ellis Park! HHR is a relatively new gaming product and I am excited to have the opportunity to turn it into something special.” When asked what he will miss most about LDC and New Mexico, Jeff shared, “I will miss the people I work with; over the years I have built many endearing relationships.” He continued, “The one thing I will miss about New Mexico is walking into any grocery store during chile roasting season and smelling green chile filling the air. There’s nothing quite like it.”
LDC congratulates Jeff on his new position as General Manager of Ellis Park Racetrack.
